Yummy Beans ( Dominican recipe)


Ingredients

1 can of pinto beans

1 fresh tomato (diced)

1 garlic cloves (minced)

1 bullion

1 tsp of cilantro

1 tsp of oil

1 1/2 cup of water

Preparation

In a sauce pan add oil,garlic, bullion and tomato. Saute for about three minutes. Then add beans, cilantro and water. Let it boil for 15 minutes or until the beans become thick. Serve with rice or anything that you might like. 4 to 5 servings.

I also like to add crushed garlic cloves to saute with the oil and fresh red pepper when I put in the beans.

mmm. Looks good. COuld I used canned tomatoes or does that not work well?

Hey! You can use canned tomatoes or tomato paste but I found out that fresh tomatoes work best:)

Lusche, I forgot to tell that if you have time and really want your beans to be more tasty you can use fresh beans
